This week marks the one-year anniversary of an extraordinary event at MAES London: the honour of hosting Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. HRH The Princess Royal has been the President of UKFT since 1985. She is a champion of the fashion manufacturing industry and has a genuine interest in knowing more about individuals and companies supporting innovation & skilled craftsmanship, and we were thrilled to have been able to share this exciting moment with our team and guests.

Amongst the excitement, there was immense amount of pressure on the team to ensure that we did things in the proper way. We were glad to have the UKFT veterans Paul Alger and Alice Burkitt on hand to help us through this.
