MAES London is a luxury womenswear manufacturer located in North London.

Founded by Diana Kakkar in 2018, MAES London was created with the intention of reconnecting designers with manufacturing. A formerly-trained fashion designer with a degree in economics and a global career spanning from India to Australia, the US to the UK, Diana has extensive experience in garment construction, production and design development. 

The idea for MAES London came about while working within the British luxury fashion industry in product development. During the lead up to fashion week, Diana recognised a striking opportunity for a local luxury manufacturer, a company that designers could trust and develop a long-standing relationship with. Shortly afterwards she quit her full-time job at a luxury designer and she, along with her business partner Joshua Rosario, set about turning her concept into a reality. 

Subscribing to the idea ‘We Make Fashion Beautiful’ MAES London empowers established and emerging designers across the world. Keeping samples and high-end production at the heart of the business, Diana is passionate that manufacturing should be accessible to everyone. Working from a beautiful, light-filled studio in North London, the highly-skilled team of MAES London are dedicated to bringing the vision of designers to life.

Diana and Josh are unequivocal about the need for transparency and are invested in ethical and sustainable manufacturing. Staff are highly valued and close links are forged with designers and their teams. Clients are welcomed into the studio and are able to see their collections being created first-hand. MAES London is a space of creativity and connection and in just five short years has grown into an industry-acclaimed business. With exciting developments on the horizon, Diana’s dream of reconnecting luxury manufacturing with designers has only just begun.
